As notions of public space have shifted with the advent of the internet, social codes have been separated from their ‘real worldʼ counterparts. This evening of screenings and performances explores forms of emerging online interaction, memes and virtual socialisation.

The programme features contributions from George Barber, David Raymond Conroy, Hannah Perry, Thomas Yeomans and others, and is the third in a series of events that have previously taken place at Grand Union, Birmingham and ICA, London.

Open File
Open File is a curatorial project by artist Jack Brindley and curator Tim Dixon. Begining as a blog in Feburary 2011, Open File operates across three platforms: live events, printed publications, and a website.

The pair are interested in how artworks, performances, writing and information can be collected and generated to fulfil a curatorial remit, and how they can subsequently be dispersed as links and relationships are formed and broken.

Open File seeks to work with spaces across the UK producing live events which form the basis of their printed and online content.
