Seventeen is participating in the inaugural A Performance Affair, a performance specific art fair held during Brussels Gallery Weekend. Emily Perry will stage Woman with Salad, a work for a group of female performers who each repeatedly enact a single gesture. These gestures derive from images and animated GIFs found in commercial stock footage libraries that depict woman engaged in actions such as laughing while holding food, looking into a mirror, brushing their hair or drinking a glass of wine.
